Christopher and Stephanie Elmerick met while attending The Ohio State University. Christopher graduated with his BA in Psychology with a focus in student development and Stephanie received her BS and MS in Family Resource Management. After graduation, Christopher went on to work with students in several areas of counseling, leadership, and program development and Stephanie worked as a financial planner. They were married in October 2001.

In the summer of 2003, Christopher and Stephanie Elmerick went to Berlin on a short-term mission trip with their home church, Northwest Presbyterian. The purpose of the trip was to work as tutors at a week long English camp for children ages 10-15. Beginning on day one of the camp, both Christopher and Stephanie sensed God’s calling to return for a longer term in Berlin.

They now serve in the Prenzlauer Berg ministry area and have three children, Grace (6/30/04), Caleb (7/8/06), and Hanna (9/25/08).
